Katie Bromley
Katie brings a never-ending enthusiasm to all her classes. Being a master at teaching our tiny dancers at any time, you may see her flying like a butterfly, acting like a bear, or shaking her sillies out. With her older students she brings out their confidence and something special in each one of them. Katie began dancing at The Studio when she was just two years old, training in all disciplines possible. She attended Mayfield Secondary School’s drama program while professionally performing as a Jr. Blue Jay dancer. After high school, she graduated from Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Program where she was given the opportunity to choreograph and perform in many shows. Katie was awarded the “Yellow Rose Scholarship” for her passion in assisting and training her fellow peers in the art of dance. For 10 years Katie has used her training to teach children and adults alike in the disciplines of tap, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, ballet, hip hop and acro. Katie realized that working with children and teaching was a greater passion than performing ever was & went back to school to become a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) at George Brown College. She is thrilled to be able to combine her passion for dancing, singing, acting and performing with her knowledge of child development at her favourite place in the world, The Studio.
