Avery Bettonvil

Avery’s classes are always upbeat and fun. She loves watching the students continue to learn and grow through dance. Her biggest joy is watching them achieve something they have worked so hard to accomplish. Avery started her dance career at 2 and has not stopped. Growing up at The Studio, she has proven herself to be a role model and positive influence to the many younger students that she encounters either through teaching, assisting or just passing in the halls. Dance has given Avery the opportunity to travel to Germany with the Canadian National Tap Team in 2012. She was awarded a convention scholarship in New York City and has danced down Main Street USA as part of Disney’s Dance the World!  Avery has obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and recently graduated from Brock University with a Master of Applied Disability Studies degree specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She currently works full-time as an ABA lead working with youth and adults with dual diagnoses. She is trained in Crisis Intervention and has her First Aid Certification.
